PCR Test ab 01.04.2022

Dear patients,

the corona restrictions are increasingly being lifted nationwide.

In Thuringia, a positive rapid test from a test center is sufficient to prove a corona infection. According to the Ministry of Health on March 29, 2022, a PCR test is not necessary to have the result confirmed - this is regulated in the state ordinance. Such a certified test should also be sufficient as proof for the employer. If the employer nevertheless insists on a corresponding certificate from the health department, this can be requested.

You are currently only entitled to a free PCR test if you are ordered by your doctor or health department.

From now on, PCR tests will only be used in our practice

  • for admission to rehabilitation, dialysis and care facilities, for inpatient admissions in clinics and for outpatient surgeries (note: credible assurance must be given that the facility requires the PCR test!),

  • as a self-payer at the patient's request, for those returning from high-risk, high-incidence and virus variant areas, at the employer's request

carried out.

We were only informed at short notice about these changes, which apply retroactively to April 1, 2022, and ask for your understanding for the short-term implementation.

Corona vaccination

The second vaccination with mRNA vaccine from BioNTech is carried out according to the current STIKO recommendation at an interval of 3-6 weeks after the first vaccination.

Individual vaccinations are currently not possible due to the specified amount of vaccine in the vials. An appointment will therefore only be given if at least 6 vaccinations are carried out on one day.

One "booster vaccination“ with mRNA vaccine from BioNTech is also for:

- 1 Johnson & Johnson vaccinated at least 4 weeks apart

- 2 times Vaxzevria (=Astra Zeneca) vaccinated after at least 6 months

possible.

Corona vaccination for people under the age of 18

dear patients,

Younger people have a particularly low risk of becoming seriously ill with Covid-19 or even dying. Nevertheless, they can also develop severe courses.

Since there is currently still too little data with regard to safety, tolerability and effectiveness, we have decided

not to vaccinate people under the age of 18 against the coronavirus.

If you are interested in a corona vaccination for your child, please contact a vaccination center and make an appointment there.

05.04.2021

dear patients,

from the April 7, 2021 starts the COVID-19 vaccination in our doctor's office.

According to the Coronavirus Vaccination Ordinance, anyone living or working in Germany can be vaccinated free of charge, regardless of their health insurance.

Initially, we are likely to have a very limited amount of vaccine available.

For the vaccination sequence in doctor's offices is the prioritization according to the Coronavirus Vaccination Ordinance.

As a first step, we will therefore enable our over 80-year-old home visit patients to be vaccinated at home, as well as mobile over 80-year-olds in a separate vaccination consultation hour in our practice. We will approach the relevant groups of people by telephone.

Patients in our practice are welcome to register for the vaccination in advance using our waiting list form. We especially recommend patients under 60 years of age contemporaneous for an appointment in vaccination center to strive.

17.03.2021

dear patients,

With the decision of the federal/state conference of March 3rd, 2021, it was determined that every citizen is entitled to a weekly SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test

We would like to point out that in our practice for the time being no SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid tests can be carried out.

Please contact the Saalfeld – Rudolstadt health department (Fon: 03671 823-674. Fax: 03671 823-688. Email: gesundheitsamt@kreis-slf.de ) and ask where testing is currently possible. According to media reports, the health department sent a circular email to all pharmacies in the district in which they were asked as possible test partners. At the same time, the contract was awarded to the district association of the German Red Cross (DRK). Municipalities are also encouraged to examine appropriate options.
